9-hour hands-on Prague brewing experience with brewer, food, tastings and a 50-litre beer batch
Spend a full day learning how Czech beer is made during a nine-hour hands-on brewing experience in a Prague microbrewery.
Under the guidance of an experienced brewer, take part in the complete brewing process rather than simply watching a brewery demonstration.
You will work through the principal stages of beer production, including preparing and crushing the malt, mashing, adding hops, cooling the wort and preparing the beer for fermentation.
The programme uses traditional two-vessel gravity brewing equipment and allows you to observe the brewing and fermentation process at close range.
Throughout the day, enjoy tastings of beers produced by the restaurant brewery together with traditional brewery refreshments, including pickled sausage, tlačenka, lard spread and beer cheese.
An included lunch consists of pork neck prepared in dark beer with mashed potatoes, followed later by coffee and beer ice cream. Non-alcoholic drinks are available throughout the day.
The experience produces approximately 50 litres of your own beer. After approximately four weeks of conditioning in kegs, the beer is ready to enjoy.
The programme also includes the currently specified beer-serving arrangement of either hand-pump hire with connection or four-hour microbrewery hire, together with a brewing T-shirt and certificate of completion.

Hands-on beer brewing
Full-day programme
Participate in preparing the malt, mashing, hopping and cooling the wort under the brewer’s guidance, producing approximately 50 litres of beer for fermentation and conditioning.
Brewery refreshments and beer tasting
